The Report + Support Service at The University of Law will be closed for the Christmas period and will re-open on Thursday 2nd January 2025. 

The majority of our Student Support & Wellbeing Services will be running a limited service or closed during this time. In the meantime, you can contact:

  • If you are a student experiencing a difficult or crisis situation during this time and would like to talk, please contact Spectrum.Life Student Assistance Programme - available 24/7, 365 days a year. Call free from within the UK: 0800 031 8227 or from anywhere in the world: 00 353 1518 0277 (calls charged at standard international rates) or text “Hi” via WhatsApp to 07418 360780. 
  • Staff can contact the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), which is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – call 0800 015 5630 for confidential advice and support for anything on your mind.

To report a crime in the UK:

  • If it’s an emergency and the crime is still taking place, call 999 and ask for the police.
  • Call 101 for non-emergency enquiries or report your crime online
  • You can go to your local police station and report the crime there.
  • If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crimestoppers online or call 0800 555 111123.

For Gender-Based Violence Support:

  • Rape Crisis England and Wales  is a charity working to end sexual violence and abuse. You can contact their 24/7 Rape & Sexual Abuse Support Line and speak to a specialists – at any time of the day or night. Call free on 0808 500 2222 or go to the website to start a free online chat
  • National Domestic Abuse Helpline 0808 2000 247 (24/7, freephone)   The free phone helpline is available 24 hours a day, all-year-round.   Online chat is available Monday to Fridays, between 3pm and 6pm.   
  • National Stalking Helpline 0808 802 0300 (Advice for victims) run by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust.  The Helpline is open 09:30 - 16:00 every weekday apart from Wednesdays. On Wednesday's the Helpline is open from 09:30 - 20:00 . You can access an online contact form or access information on their website.

  • Ulaw Wellbeing App The ULaw Wellbeing app is available to you and is FREE to download, search for “ULaw Wellbeing” in your app store. The app provides lots of useful information and tools to assist with wellbeing.  
  • TogetherAll is an online support community freely available to ULaw students. It offers an anonymous 24/7 safe, confidential and moderated space for students to talk about their experiences, explore their feelings and learn how to improve and self-manage their emotional wellbeing. To join TogetherAll’s supportive online community, sign up with your university email address and then choose an anonymous username for your time there.
